Who we are
The Practice Hub is a Pilates studio in Cape Town that instructors and instructors in training book by the hour. The company is being registered; the registered name and the information officer's details are added here as soon as they are on the register. Until then, every question comes to hello@thepracticehub.co.za Placeholder address and is answered by the founder.
What we keep
Your name, email address and phone number, so we know who has booked and can reach you about it. Your bookings: the hours you booked, what you told us you were doing in the room, and whether the booking was kept or cancelled. Your credits: how many you have and what you have spent them on. The emails we send you and whether they arrived, so a login code that bounces can be noticed.
What we do not keep
Card numbers. When card payments open, they are handled by Yoco, who take the payment on their own page and tell us only that it succeeded. We never see or store your card details.
Why we keep it
To run your membership and your bookings, to let you sign in, to tell you about a change to a booking or a workshop, and to keep the records a business has to keep. We do not sell anything about you and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
Only the services that make the site work: Supabase, where the database and your sign-in live; Resend, which sends the emails; Vercel, which serves the site; and Yoco, once card payments are connected. Each of them sees only what it needs to do its part.
How long we keep it
While you are a member, and for as long afterwards as the law asks us to keep business records. Ask us to delete your account and we delete it: the personal details go, and what stays is the record that a booking happened, with nothing in it that points at you.
Your rights under POPIA
You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Signed in, both are in your account under Your data. Otherwise email hello@thepracticehub.co.za Placeholder address and we will do it by hand.
Cookies
One, for signing in. It remembers that it is you between pages. There is no analytics and no advertising cookie on this site.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we say so by email before it takes effect.
